Jeff’s Place Program Update
While we very much miss being together in person, we are finding comfort and hope through the care and compassion of our amazing family participants and facilitators in our virtual support groups. We recognize and are humbled by each group member, sharing not only their hearts with us and each other, but also their homes. The courage it takes to “sit together,” even more so on zoom, can not be underestimated. The bonds of intimacy grow stronger, as does our village. Earlier this week, we welcomed our families for another drive through “visit” so we could distribute some of our kids favorite rituals at our annual Holiday Memorial Celebration…. ginger bread house kits with all the fixings, making luminaries for our virtual memorial walk, and sharing chocolate kisses since we can’t give hugs yet!
As we move through the holiday season in the midst of this pandemic, our Clinical Director, Melissa Kennedy Panto, offers some TIPS for Coping During the Holidays.
