Foundation for MetroWest Grant

We are pleased to announce that we have received a generous $10,000 grant from the Foundation For MetroWest, which will help to offset the cost of hiring an associate program director who will work on outreach to local schools and community organizations.

Jeff’s Place relies heavily on individual donations and grants, and we are proud to be supported by community organizations such as the Foundation for MetroWest. Funding will support the hiring of an Associate Program Director whose primary responsibility will be to expand services by providing outreach and direct services in schools and community settings to underserved youth who are unable to access “in-house” group bereavement sessions due to barriers such as transportation, evening availability, language and mental health stability.
