Jeff’s Place in the Community
Recently, team members and volunteers from Jeff’s Place spent time tabling at the Natick Days family event and our local Framingham Fest. During each event, Jeff’s Place represented the organization, shared resources, spread awareness on childhood bereavement, and offered some interactive craft activities for children and families.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and for those who helped make each event a success! Our mission at Jeff’s Place is built on deep community connection both inside and outside of our organization.
Schartner Farm Family Event
Jeff’s Place would like to give a big THANK YOU to Eric Schartner and Schartner Farm in Berlin, MA for recently welcoming our families for a free day of Fall festivities. Families got to enjoy a beautiful day filled with hayrides, a corn maze, some apple picking, and farm adventures. To learn more about Schartner Farm, check out their website below:

Grief Book and Activity Recommendation
For Children:
One of Those Days, by Amy Krouse Rosenthal is a book that teaches children ages 3-7 how to navigate challenging feelings. One of our Clinicians, Jenny, recently read this book during her grief group with children ages 5-7 and had them engage in a therapeutic art activity afterwards. Using recycled paper towel roles, paint, soap, and crayons, the children had fun with bubble art. At Jeff’s Place, our team members incorporate learning moments with play to help children process big feelings.
